Overview
Celsius Plumbing & Heating is a modern, service-focused WordPress website designed to help homeowners and property managers in Edinburgh quickly find the right plumbing and heating services. The website combines a clean, conversion-focused interface with structured service content, responsive layouts, and dynamic content management using WordPress, Elementor, and ACF.

The Challenge
01 — Managing a Complex WordPress Ecosystem

The project required a robust WordPress environment with multiple plugins working together across content management, forms, SEO, security, performance and custom functionality. Maintaining compatibility and a reliable workflow was essential without compromising the overall user experience.
02 — Building a Flexible Content Structure

The website needed to handle a large and growing range of plumbing, heating, boiler and related services. A flexible content architecture was required so that new services and information could be added or updated efficiently without repeatedly rebuilding page layouts.
03 — Balancing Functionality with Performance

With multiple functional layers—including forms, security, SEO, image optimization, caching and other integrations—the challenge was to maintain a fast, stable and user-friendly website while keeping the backend manageable.
04 — Creating a Conversion-Focused Experience

The website needed to do more than present information. Customers had to be guided naturally from discovering a service to taking action—whether that meant booking an appointment, requesting a quote or contacting the business.
Our Approach
01 — Structure Before Design

We first established a clear content and information architecture around the company’s core plumbing, heating and boiler services. Services were organised into intuitive categories, making it easier for visitors to find relevant information and take the next step.
02 — Build a Flexible Content System

Using WordPress, Elementor and ACF, we created a structured and reusable content system. Dynamic fields and reusable components made it easier to manage services, content and website sections while keeping the design consistent across the site.
03 — Design for Trust & Conversion

The interface was designed around the customer journey. Clear messaging, prominent calls-to-action, service-focused layouts, certifications, reviews and trust signals were strategically placed to reduce friction and encourage enquiries and bookings.
04 — Optimise the Complete Experience

The final stage focused on creating a responsive and reliable experience across devices. Performance, forms, security, SEO and supporting WordPress integrations were carefully considered to ensure the website remained fast, stable and easy to manage.
