1. Who we are
WP Pro Devs ("we", "us", "our") is a WordPress development studio operating globally. Our principal place of business is registered in Malaysia. We can be reached at [email protected].
2. What data we collect
We collect information you provide directly — your name, email address, company name and project details when you fill in our contact or quote forms. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time stamps) are retained for security and debugging purposes only and are not used for profiling or advertising.
3. How we use your data
We use your contact details solely to respond to your enquiry, send you the written estimate you requested, and — if you become a client — to manage your project and invoices. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers (e.g. our email platform) who act as data processors under contractual obligations.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or another jurisdiction with data-protection law, our legal bases for processing are: (a) your consent where you tick a box or send a message; (b) our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and improving our services; and (c) contract performance for active clients.
5. Cookies
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We set a single cookie only to remember your cookie-banner choice. If you embed any third-party media (e.g. YouTube), their cookies may apply — please refer to their policies.
6. Data retention
We keep enquiry records for 24 months, then delete them unless you become a client, in which case we retain project records for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
8. Security
We use TLS encryption for all data in transit. Access to project data is restricted to team members on a need-to-know basis. We do not store payment card details — payments are handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be announced via email to active clients. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
